LASER ENGRAVING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Laser engraving permanently alters your product. Please review these terms carefully before placing an engraving order. By requesting engraving services, you agree to these Terms.

1. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Xotic Perfumes offers laser engraving personalization on fragrance bottles and select products using commercial-grade laser technology. Engraving services include: standard text (name, initials, dates), monogram and crest designs, Arabic calligraphy, custom artwork and logos, and specialty finishes (color-fill, gold-fill). Not all surfaces are compatible with laser engraving. We reserve the right to decline engraving requests we determine are technically unsuitable, illegal, or contrary to our values.

2. CUSTOMER CONTENT & LEGAL REPRESENTATIONS

By submitting text, artwork, logos, or design elements for engraving, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have full rights to use all content submitted for engraving

• The content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights of any third party

• The content is not defamatory, obscene, threatening, or unlawful

• You have permission to engrave any brand logos or corporate marks you submit

You agree to indemnify and hold Xotic Perfumes harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from content you submit for engraving.

3. PROOFS & APPROVAL

For standard engraving (name, initials, dates): A digital preview will be shown on our iPad at the engraving station before work begins. Your verbal approval to proceed constitutes authorization.

For corporate, premium, and luxury engraving orders: A digital proof will be emailed to you within 48 hours of order placement. Written approval via email is required before engraving commences. You are solely responsible for reviewing the proof for accuracy, including spelling, dates, orientation, and placement.

ONCE YOU APPROVE A PROOF AND ENGRAVING BEGINS, NO CHANGES CAN BE MADE. WE CANNOT REVERSE, REMOVE, OR MODIFY AN ENGRAVING ONCE APPLIED.

4. ACCURACY & ERRORS

Xotic Perfumes will engrave exactly what you approve. We are not responsible for typographical errors, misspellings, or incorrect information in content submitted by you or approved by you in a proof. If you discover an error in your approval after engraving is complete, you may purchase a replacement product and engraving service at a discounted rate at our discretion.

If Xotic Perfumes makes an error that differs from your approved proof, we will replace the product and re-engrave at no charge or refund the engraving service fee.

5. PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY & RISK

Laser engraving on glass, metal, and acrylic surfaces is a precision process. While we use commercial-grade equipment calibrated for fragrance bottles, there is an inherent, small risk of product damage. You acknowledge this risk by requesting engraving services.

Xotic Perfumes is not liable for: (a) natural variations in engraving appearance between products of the same type; (b) variations in depth or contrast due to surface irregularities in the product; (c) color variations in color-fill engraving due to product surface chemistry; or (d) damage that occurs during normal use of the product after engraving.

6. PROHIBITED ENGRAVING CONTENT

We will not engrave the following content under any circumstances:

• Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language targeting any group

• Sexually explicit content

• Threats, harassment, or content that facilitates harm

• Content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights (logos, brand marks without authorization)

• Illegal content of any kind

Refusal to engrave prohibited content will not result in a refund of the product purchase price.

7. CORPORATE & BULK ENGRAVING

Corporate and bulk orders (10+ units) require: (a) signed order agreement; (b) 50% deposit at order placement; (c) written approval of digital proof; (d) balance payment upon completion. Turnaround time for bulk orders is 3–7 business days depending on quantity. Rush processing (24-hour turnaround) is available for an additional fee subject to availability.
