1. ORDER PROCESSING
Orders placed Monday through Friday before 2:00 p.m. Central Time are generally processed the same business day. Orders placed after 2:00 p.m. CT, on weekends, or on federal holidays will be processed the next business day. Custom orders (personalized engraving, bulk corporate orders) may require additional processing time as detailed in Section 5.
During high-volume periods (holidays, promotional events, Eid, Ramadan, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day), processing times may be extended by 1–3 business days. We will communicate any significant delays via email.
2. DOMESTIC SHIPPING (UNITED STATES)
2.1 Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times
The following shipping options are available at checkout:
• Standard Shipping (5–8 business days): Free on orders over $75. Otherwise, rates calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.
• Expedited Shipping (2–3 business days): Rate calculated at checkout.
• Overnight / Next-Day (1 business day): Rate calculated at checkout. Must be ordered by 12:00 p.m. CT.
• Local Houston Delivery: Free delivery within a 15-mile radius of 6824 Harwin Dr for orders over $100. Available Tuesday–Saturday. Delivery window provided by email.
• In-Store Pickup: Available at no charge. Ready within 2 hours during business hours. You will receive an email notification when your order is ready.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather events, and other factors outside our control may affect delivery timelines.
2.2 Shipping Carriers
We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx. Carrier selection is at our discretion unless you specify a preference. Tracking information will be emailed to you when your order ships.
3. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We currently do not ship to international destinations.
4. SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS — FRAGRANCE PRODUCTS
Due to federal and carrier regulations governing the shipment of flammable liquids:
• Fragrance products with an alcohol content above 70% (perfumer's alcohol-based EDPs and EDTs) may be restricted for air shipment depending on quantity and carrier
• We comply with IATA, DOT, and carrier-specific regulations for hazmat materials
• Large quantity or bulk orders may require ground-only shipping
• We reserve the right to adjust your shipping method to ensure compliance with applicable regulations
5. ENGRAVING & CUSTOM ORDER SHIPPING
Standard retail items with laser engraving require an additional 1–3 business days for processing before shipping. Corporate and bulk engraving orders (10+ units) require 3–7 business days. Rush engraving (24-hour turnaround, where available) is subject to a rush fee. Custom order timelines will be communicated in writing at the time of order.
6. DAMAGED, LOST, OR STOLEN SHIPMENTS
6.1 Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives visibly damaged, take photographs of the outer packaging and contents before opening fully. Contact us at info@xoticperfumes.com within 5 days of delivery. Include your order number and photos. We will file a carrier claim on your behalf and send a replacement or issue a refund.
6.2 Lost Shipments
If your tracking shows delivered but you have not received your package, please: (a) check with neighbors and in unusual delivery locations; (b) wait 24 additional hours (carrier reporting delays occur); (c) contact us if the package is still missing after 48 hours of the delivery confirmation. We will work with the carrier to investigate. Replacement or refund is issued only after the carrier's investigation is complete.
6.3 Stolen Packages
Xotic Perfumes is not responsible for packages stolen after confirmed delivery. We recommend adding shipping insurance for high-value orders (available at checkout) or requesting signature confirmation.
7. ADDRESS ACCURACY
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address at checkout. We are not responsible for non-delivery due to an incorrect, incomplete, or insufficient address. Orders returned to us due to address errors will require you to pay re-shipping fees before reshipment.
