CUSTOM PERFUME BAR & BLENDING SESSION TERMS

These Terms govern all perfume bar experiences, blending sessions, group bookings, bridal packages, and corporate team-building events at Xotic Perfumes. By booking or attending a session, you agree to these Terms.

1. NATURE OF THE SERVICE

Xotic Perfumes offers guided custom fragrance creation experiences ("Sessions") in which a trained staff member guides you through selecting and blending fragrance ingredients to create a personalized Eau de Parfum, Eau de Toilette, or oil-based attar. Sessions result in a custom-blended fragrance product unique to you.

Custom fragrances created through our Sessions constitute cosmetic products under the FDA Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA). Our facility is registered with the FDA as a cosmetic manufacturer. All ingredients used comply with International Fragrance Association (IFRA) guidelines for dermal application.

2. BOOKING & PAYMENT

• All Sessions are by appointment only. Walk-in sessions are accommodated subject to availability and are not guaranteed

• A non-refundable deposit equal to 25% of the session price is required at booking

• The remaining balance is due at the time of your Session

• Group bookings of 4 or more guests require a 50% deposit at booking and payment in full 48 hours before the session date

• Bridal and corporate event bookings require a signed event agreement and 50% deposit, with the balance due on the event date

3. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

• More than 24 hours before session: Your deposit will be applied as store credit toward a future booking. No refund of deposit.

• Less than 24 hours before session: Deposit is forfeited. No rescheduling credit available.

• No-show: Full deposit is forfeited. For group bookings, full group deposit is forfeited.

• Our cancellation: If we must cancel your session for any reason, your deposit will be fully refunded within 5 business days.

4. HEALTH, ALLERGY & SAFETY DISCLOSURE

IMPORTANT: FRAGRANCE INGREDIENTS MAY CAUSE ALLERGIC REACTIONS IN SENSITIVE INDIVIDUALS. READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY.

By participating in a Session, you acknowledge and agree:

• You have disclosed to our staff any known fragrance allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions prior to the session

• You accept sole responsibility for assessing whether specific ingredients are safe for your individual use

• You will perform a patch test before applying your custom blend to large areas of skin

• Fragrance products are not recommended for use during pregnancy without medical clearance

• Children under 12 should not participate in blending sessions without parental supervision

• You release Xotic Perfumes from liability for any adverse skin reactions, allergic responses, or personal injury resulting from use of your custom blend, provided we have followed IFRA-compliant formulation guidelines

5. FORMULA STORAGE & REORDERS

Your fragrance formula will be recorded in our system and retained indefinitely, enabling convenient reorders. You may request deletion of your formula records by contacting us at hello@xoticperfumes.com. Formula records are your personal property and will never be sold or transferred to third parties.

Reorders are fulfilled within 48 hours of confirmed payment. Reorder pricing is disclosed at time of order. We make reasonable efforts to ensure ingredient continuity but cannot guarantee that specific ingredients will remain available indefinitely. If an ingredient in your formula is discontinued, we will notify you and offer suitable alternatives.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IN CUSTOM FORMULAS

The creative formula developed during your Session belongs to you. However, Xotic Perfumes retains the right to use aggregate, anonymized data about ingredient combinations for research, development, and trend analysis — no personally identifying information will be associated with such data.

Our core blend methods, techniques, base accords, and proprietary ingredient combinations developed by Xotic Perfumes constitute our trade secrets and intellectual property. You agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or commercially reproduce our proprietary blending processes or any Xotic Perfumes house blend without written authorization.

7. PHOTOGRAPHY & CONTENT

During your Session, staff or our social media team may photograph or video record the experience. You will be asked to provide a separate photo/video release consent at check-in. If you consent, we may use content featuring you for marketing, social media, and promotional purposes. If you decline, no images or video of you will be shared. Declining consent does not affect your Session in any way.
